SlapFIGHT 40: Reckoning, Saturday December 7th
SlapFIGHT 40: Reckoning Betting Guide SlapFIGHT returns!
Pro League Network will be bringing you the 40th edition of the original slap fighting league with a power packed lineup of five middleweight matchups, a battle of super heavyweights and a main event title bout. The event will feature up and coming talent, undefeated slappers and legendary competitors in what looks on paper to be a fantastic event. The broadcast team of SlapFIGHT originator JT Tilley and MMA legend Mark “The Hammer” Coleman provide insight while keeping you laughing.
Main Event: Middleweight Championship
Slim Reaper (Champion) -150 vs. Runt +115
Slim Reaper (6 - 0) has been impressive with a clean slap rate of 97.3% and most recently winning two bouts in one night at SlapFIGHT 37: Melting Point. Rarely committing fouls while recording a knockout and three TKO’s, Reaper’s power and consistency have made him a legend in the making. I expect fireworks from these two.
Runt (7 - 2) is currently riding a four fight win streak and shows up with some real momentum. Although his name does describe his stature, it in no way reflects the amount of heart in this underdog. With a clean slap rate just above 85%, he’ll need to increase his accuracy a bit if he hopes to claim the title. Runt comes from a family of slappers and will battle Slim Reaper to the finish in this much awaited matchup.
Co-Main Event: Middleweight
The Cannon -145 vs. Carsten +110
The Cannon (8 - 2) is a former SlapFIGHT Champion and brother of the above described Runt. With a clean slap rate of 95.1% and seven knockdowns under his belt, Cannon is one of the most impressive competitors on the roster. Facing a bit of an unknown in the debuting Carsten, Cannon will need to be on his game to record his fifth straight victory.
Carsten (0 - 0) will be making his SlapFIGHT debut, but does bring slap fight experience having competed in another league previously. From what I’ve seen he has some real power and solid technique. Do not expect this guy to crumble under the power of The Cannon, instead look forward to what shapes up to be a long bout.
Featured Matchup: Super Heavyweight
FAFO -150 vs. Cowboy +115
FAFO (0 - 1) is looking to bounce back after an absolute war against the legend Frank The Tank at SlapFIGHT 38: Freakshow. In a 2 versus 1, with Frank facing both Stretch and FAFO. Stretch was knocked out in round one, leaving FAFO to go head to head with Frank. Nine rounds later FAFO was defeated via decision, but showed he’s a warrior. Cowboy about to f*ck around and find out.
Cowboy (0 - 1) lost in his debut in a seven round decision against professional arm wrestler Grizzly, a very tough first visit to the barrel. In the loss Cowboy showed promise, but will need to clean up the fouls which ultimately cost him the match. He returns to prove he belongs amongst the heavyweights on the roster. And as they say “Someone’s O has to go”.
Middleweight:
Biscuit -160 vs. Classic Lizard +120
Biscuit (4 - 4) is the Head Coach of team Biscuit and a veteran of the SlapFIGHT game. Most recently competing at SlapFIGHT 37: Melting Point against Slim Reaper, he lost in a seven round slapfest. Biscuit has a lifetime clean slap rate of 93.5% and improved to 96.4% over his four bouts in 2024. With six total decisions on his record, you can expect his chin to hold up.
Classic Lizard (1 - 1) is new to the roster in 2024, but proved he’s up to the challenge. Bouncing back from his debut loss with an explosive performance at SlapFIGHT 39: Young Guns, Classic Lizard knocked down Boston Slappah twice and ultimately earned himself a TKO win. This will be his biggest test to date, Biscuit will be tough to get past.
Middleweight:
Okie Savage -200 vs. Bad Influence +150
Okie Savage (1 - 0) wasted no time knocking out veteran and Tag Team Champion Demon in the first round of his debut at SlapFIGHT 39. He is a professional arm wrestler who clearly learns quickly and has real power. No step down in competition for the strong man here though, Okie Savage will need to be ready for a longer battle this go around.
Bad Influence (1 - 0) has been active competing in two separate Slap Poker events and then returning to pick up a victory over Mexicutioner at SlapFIGHT 39 via TKO. The guy is tough as they come, willing to take a slap and ready to return fire. Bad Influence is stepping up in competition with this matchup and we’ll find out just how good his chin truly is.
Middleweight:
Boston Slappah -115 vs. Mexicutioner -115
Mexicutioner (1 - 3) has shown his toughness over the years competing in PLN’s world of sports. The fan favorite who recently competed in CarJitsu, picked up a win in his first bout and is now returning to the barrel to continue that momentum. Mexicutioner will need to clean up the fouls, 12.5% lifetime.
Boston Slappah (0 - 1) will need to improve upon his initial visit to the barrel. He showed he’s game and has an ability to bounce back after taking a big shot, but he’ll need to improve upon that effort. Boston Slappah landed all his slaps clean and if he continues that, he may be able to gain a victory.
Lightweight:
Concrete Finisher -130 vs. Firecracker +100
Concrete Finisher (1 - 5) is a better competitor than his record shows. Tough matchups and a foul rate of 13.5% has led to his losses. A big matchup for Concrete Finisher and improvement is expected. Do not doubt his tenacity or effort.
Firecracker (2 - 1) debuted at SlapFIGHT 35: Onslaught defeating Extinguisher with a fifth round TKO. He quickly followed that up at SlapFIGHT 36: Subzero with an impressive decision over PLN’s do it all Black Larry. With a 100% clean slap rate in his 3 bouts, the kid has shown his accuracy.
