PLN put on a fantastic event over the weekend in Branson Missouri.
Four total matchups producing 6 submissions and a Sudden Death finish, all of which made for a night of excitement! We had the impressive debut of Inglewood, the continued success of two up and coming grapplers and a social media star face off against a SlapFIGHT legend. Can’t miss stuff!
In the opening match, newcomer Anthony “Inglewood” Alexander showed off his jiu jitsu skills securing submissions in both the 1st and 2nd rounds. Inglewood could be a star in the making. Fletcher Estes looked a bit timid but was a tough out. I expect both competitors to be back in the car soon.
Second on the card was Mike Cardiel versus Steven Minski. Minski, who won in his debut, outlasted Cardiel to gain a Sudden Death victory and improve to 2 - 0. This was a true battle of wills, with the first three rounds all ending in a draw. Minski showed he is on a path to an eventual title opportunity. Cardiel is as tough as they come and quite slippery, his ability to escape submissions is impressive. Surprisingly the car survived as these two tore it up for 9+ minutes!
The Co-Main Event featured Raven James, retired SlapFIGHT Champion, facing a brave social media star, Caden Booth. Although this sounds like a lopsided matchup, and make no mistake it was, Raven and Caden provided an entertaining 18 second 1st round. In the 2nd round, Caden fared slightly better, lasting over 2 minutes before Raven mercifully submitted him again. Lets hope Caden begins training and we are graced with another appearance from Raven in any future Pro League Network event.
The Main Event to end the evening, had Brian Ramirez coming off a debut win, facing off against another newcomer to CarJitsu, Nicolas Werner. Both looked ready and brought incredible backgrounds to the bout, but ultimately Ramirez dominated this matchup. Werner will be back and I expect the well trained jiu jitsu brown belt will improve upon this effort. As for Ramirez, he looks to be unstoppable in the Flyweight division.

🎲 ⬇️ 🎲 Betting Crash Course 🎲 ⬇️ 🎲
CarJitsu 14: Crash Course, Friday November 29th, will be streamed
LIVE on Stadium at 9pm EST!
Each round begins in the driver and passenger seats, buckled in, and ending in either submission or draw. If neither competitor can secure a submission in the 1st or 2nd round or each wins one round, they will move into the backseats for an additional 3rd round. A “Sudden Death” will only happen with a draw at the end of the 3rd round. “Sudden Death” will be decided by either submission or the first competitor to gain a Jiu Jitsu position. Seatbelts submissions are in fact in play!
Main Event: Middleweight Championship
Zac Moore (3 - 1) is the current Middleweight CarJitsu Champion, having defended against Johnathan Chambers in a “Sudden Death” finish at CarJitsu 9: Redemption in his last outing. Moore is an MMA fighter training out of Family Combat Fitness, who recently competed in PLN’s newest sport, Coffin Wars, featured on Kai Cenat’s live stream. He’s a skilled and tough minded competitor, Moore consistently brings confidence to the car.
CJay “Groundshark” Hunter (3 - 0) has certainly earned his undefeated record after besting three very skilled opponents. Groundshark is known for his D’Arce choke, having two under his belt, but showed his adaptability after securing a seatbelt submission during ESPN Ocho. He’ll reluctantly need to remove his trademark gold chains before competing, otherwise he’s as game as they come.
Matchup:
Vincent Bryan (1 - 0) was very impressive in his debut at CarJitsu 12: New Blood, gaining a 1st round seatbelt submission and 2nd round draw for the victory. A division 1 college wrestler who also competed on Coffin Wars, Bryan is a current MMA fighter, training out of Little Rock MMA.
Jack Hewit (0 - 0) will be making his debut, but do not overlook him, he’s ready for battle. Hewitt is a current MMA fighter training out of Team Fusion in Springfield, Missouri. Although new to the world of CarJitsu, he’ll look to be an impact player if he can pass his first test.
Matchup:
Tre Jennings (1 - 2) was an alternate for the original CarJitsu tournament and competed in PLN’s Grappling Challenge, so nothing new for him here. Jennings proved his versatility during Tire Wrestling and Gorilla Games, and will look to bounce back from his last outing at CarJitsu 12.
Isaac Smith (0 - 0) will be making his debut at CarJitsu for his initial foray into the PLN family of sports. Smith trains out of Team Fusion and brings his MMA experience to the front seat, hoping to make a good impression during his matchup Saturday night.
Matchup:
Jonathan Chambers (3 - 3) is a veteran of CarJitsu, competing since 2022 and against some of the toughest grapplers on the roster. Jonathan, a jiu jitsu specialist, had a highlight seatbelt submission in the 1st round during CarJitsu Origins, worth going back to watch. He has shown great cardio and the flexibility to use the advantages within the car.
Rodrigo “Mexicutioner” Contreras (1 - 0) is a legendary Pro League Network competitor. A SlapFIGHT veteran, he’s not only competed in SlapFIGHT, but also PLN Creative Director JT Tilley’s newest sensation Slap Poker. Contreras used his general toughness to make himself a surprising 1 - 0.
